This job role is available from 4 - 40 hours per week, can fit around your personal commitments and can offer a variety of contracts including full and part time, evenings and weekends. 


Hourly rate is minimum wage dependent on age, but not lower than £8.36 per hour (even if you are 18 - 20). £8.91 per hour if aged 23 or above


*** You will also qualify for a new Enhanced Overtime Scheme.... An additional £5 per hour for every hour worked above your standard contracted hours, when working a 40 hour contract, for an agreed time period ***

Responsibilities for Kitchen Porters

  • As a kitchen porter in Blue Smoke on the Bay you will be integral in making sure the kitchen runs efficiently, you will be responsible for ensuring all guest crockery and cutlery are cleaned and preserved as well as supporting the chef and supplying them with the equipment needed to carry out their duties, cleaning the kitchen at the end of service and maintaining good hygiene practices throughout. 
  • You will be working with a large experienced team who care about our guests and your development.
